Koei Africa Co., Ltd. was proud to participate in the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), held in Yokohama, Japan from 20th to 22nd August 2025. Represented by Mr. Samwel Kamau and Mr. Griffins Odhiambo, the company showcased its commitment to delivering sustainable and innovative solutions for Africa’s development.

Together with Nippon Koei Co. Ltd, Koei Africa hosted an exhibitor stand at the conference, highlighting ongoing projects and expertise in infrastructure, urban planning, and engineering services.

The TICAD Summit brought together government leaders, development partners, and private sector representatives from across Africa and Japan, creating a valuable platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing. Koei Africa’s presence highlighted the company’s role as a trusted consultant in delivering infrastructure, urban planning, and engineering solutions tailored to Africa’s growing needs.

Koei Africa’s engagement extended beyond the exhibition floor. On 21st August, Samwel and Griffins actively took part in the Public–Private Business Dialogue, a key TICAD session that brought together representatives from governments, international organisations, and the private sector. The discussions centred on strategies to accelerate Africa’s growth through effective collaboration between the public and private spheres. By engaging in these high-level dialogues, Koei Africa reinforced its role as a vital partner in bridging African priorities with Japanese expertise and investment.
