Koei Africa and Nippon Koei Nairobi office enjoyed a team-building retreat at Sirville Lodge on the beautiful shores of Lake Elementaita in Nakuru County, Kenya. This initiative was designed to bring our team closer together, enhance collaboration, and to have some fun! The event featured a range of thoughtfully designed activities such as Zumba, communication and trust-building games, and group problem-solving challenges; each one reinforcing core organisational values and strengthening interpersonal relationships, all whilst creating a lot of smiles and laughter.

The team also enjoyed thrilling adventure activities including ziplining, sky bike riding, and laser tag, A bonfire gathering by the lake in the evening provided a relaxed atmosphere to unwind and socialise. The event concluded the following day with a visit to the Kariandusi prehistoric site, followed by a shared lunch of Nyama Choma (Kenya’s National BBQ dish) before travelling back to Nairobi. The event was unilaterally declared a great success and we look forward to similar gatherings in the future.
