Founded in July 2017 in Nairobi, Kenya, KAF is dedicated to achieving engineering excellence in Africa. KAF was initially established as a subsidiary of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. (NK), Japan's leading engineering consultancy firm. In March 2024, KAF transitioned its ownership to Integrated Design and Engineering Holdings Co. Ltd. (ID&E), the holding company established by the NK Group. This shift strategically aligned KAF with ID&E, enhancing its operational synergy.
